How a sticky-note queen discovered the tool that would transform her web design business forever
Project management had always been my biggest challenge, especially in web design where it’s so easy to get overwhelmed by details. I was the self-proclaimed sticky note queen, with notebooks and reminders scattered everywhere – a system that was clearly crying out for help.
After countless searches and trials with different tools, I finally stumbled upon Moxie. From the moment I discovered it, I knew this was exactly what I’d been looking for. Like many people, I tend to dive straight into new tools without reading the manual (think assembling IKEA furniture without the instructions), but Moxie proved to be the game-changing solution my business needed.
I am a huge Friends TV fanatic and I actually use Rachel Green and “the gang” as my test clients when I am making video tutorials for The Moxie Maven Academy. hahaha

I am excited to tell you about this amazing thing called Moxie that has literally changed my life! Remember when Rachel Green used to work at Central Perk and everything was totally chaotic? Well, that’s exactly how my web design business felt before I found Moxie!
Before I found Moxie I was totally overwhelmed with, like, a million projects (okay, maybe not a million, but you know what I mean), and my husband and I were basically drowning in sticky notes and to-do lists. It was NOT pretty.
The One Where I Found Moxie
We tried all these other tools – Dubsado, HoneyBook, you name it – but nothing felt right. It was like trying to find the perfect pair of shoes, but everything either pinched or wasn’t cute enough. But then… gasp …we found Moxie! And let me tell you, it was like that moment when you find THE perfect outfit that just speaks to you!
I mean, could this tool BE any more perfect? (Chandler voice, sorry, couldn’t help myself!) The interface is so pretty and user-friendly, it’s like having your own personal assistant who actually knows what they’re doing!
The One With All The Features
Listen up, you guys, because this is the good part! Moxie has completely transformed how we handle everything. And I mean EVERYTHING!
- Task Management That Actually Makes Sense: It’s like having Monica organize your entire life, but without all the crazy color-coding and label-making obsession (love you, Mon!).
- Super Flexible Setup: Unlike Ross’s “pivot” situation with that couch, Moxie actually moves exactly how you need it to. It’s like it reads your mind!
- Amazing Communication Features: It’s better than the time Joey got his own answering machine – everything stays organized and nothing gets lost!
The One Where I Became a Teacher
I started making these videos about Moxie for some members in a community I am in, Web Designer Pro, and people actually loved them! I was teaching people all the things about Moxie – a platform than can (and will) transform their business! It was so much fun and exhilarating.
Long story short (I know, too late, right? 😆), I ended up creating this super comprehensive course called “The Moxie Maven Academy” I know, so fancy! But seriously, it’s like the perfect recipe book for getting Moxie just right. Bonus points if you immediately thought about the desert Rachel made that was utterly disgusting, hahaha
The One With The Community
The Moxie community is literally the best! It’s like having your own Central Perk gang, but for business stuff. Everyone is so supportive and helpful – it’s exactly what I needed when I was starting out!
